Hexacosyl (E)-ferulate
Hexacosyl (E)-ferulate displays significant antioxidant activity in the DPPH assay (RC50 = 0.0976 mg/mL). It also might be a chemotaxonomic marker in the genus Echinops.

Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to
24 months(2-8C).
Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20C. Generally, these will be useable for up to two weeks. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.

The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling.

Two bioactive ferulic acid derivatives from Eremostachys glabra.[Reference:
WebLink]
METHODS AND RESULTS:
Two ferulic acid derivatives, Hexacosyl (E)-ferulate [1] and leucosceptoside A [2], have been isolated from the rhizomes of Eremostachys glabra. The chemical structures of these compounds have been elucidated by UV, ESIMS, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopic analyses, and also by comparing experimental data with respective literature data. The free radical scavenging activity and general toxicity of these compounds have been assessed.
CONCLUSIONS:
While none of these compounds has shown any significant general toxicity in the brine shrimp lethality assay (LD50>1 mg/mL), compounds 1 and 2 displayed significant antioxidant activity in the DPPH assay (RC50 = 0.0976 mg/mL and 0.0148 mg/mL, respectively).

METHODS AND RESULTS:
► Hexacosyl (E)-ferulate and 1-methyl-4-quinolone were isolated from Echinops nanus. ► Hexacosyl (E)-ferulate might be a chemotaxonomic marker in the genus Echinops. ► Echinothiophenegenol were isolated from Echinops transiliensis. ► E. transiliensis might be chemotaxonomically associated to Echinops grijisii.
