Antimalaric

Evoxine
Catalog No: CFN98849

Evoxine is a small molecule that counteracts CO2-Induced immune suppression, it can counteract the CO2-induced transcriptional suppression of antimicrobial peptides in S2* cells. Evoxine and arborinine display moderate antiplasmodial activity against the CQS D10 strain of Plasmodium falciparum, with IC(50) values of 24.5 and 12.3 microM, respectively.
Lupeol
Catalog No: CFN98913

1. Lupeol has a potential to act as an anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-protozoal, anti-proliferative, anti-invasive, anti-angiogenic, antimalarial and cholesterol lowering agent.
2. Lupeol prevents acetaminophen-induced in vivo hepatotoxicity by altering the Bax/Bcl-2 and oxidative stress-mediated mitochondrial signaling cascade.
3. Lupeol and its ester derivative have beneficial effects on hypercholesterolemia-induced oxidative and inflammatory stresses.
4. Lupeol significantly enhances the radiosensitivity of SMMC-7721 cells in vitro and in vivo.
5. Lupeol shows antidiabetic and antioxidant potential in experimental hyperglycaemia.
6. Lupeol has potential anticancer effect against hepatocellular and pancreatic cancer, by inhibiting cell proliferation, inducing apoptosis and blocking Akt/PI3K and Wnt signaling pathway.
7. Lupeol has antiangiogenic effects, it (at 50 and 30 microg/mL) shows a marked inhibitory activity on human umbilical venous endothelial cells (HUVEC) tube formation while it does not affect the growth of tumor cell lines such as SK-MEL-2, A549, and B16-F10 melanoma.
Norcepharadione B
Catalog No: CFN98975

Norcepharadione B shows good inhibitory activity against the replication of HSV-1, it also shows antimalarial activity with EC50 values of 7.5mug/ml. Norcepharadione B exhibits significant cytotoxicity against five human tumor cell lines (A-549, SK-OV-3, SK-MEL-2, XF-498 and HCT-15) in vitro. Norcepharadione B shows significant inhibitory effects on both ADP-induced and thrombin-induced platelet aggregation.
Chrysosplenetin
Catalog No: CFN97026

Chrysosplenetin is a metabolic inhibitor of artemisinin, it has strong activity in vitro against EV71 with low cytotoxicity. Co-administration of artemisinin(ART) with chrysosplenetin(CHR) in ratio of 1:2 achieved a synergic anti-malarial effect partly because of the noncompetitive or uncompetitive inhibition of CHR of drug-metabolism enzymes, especially CYP3A which is closely related to the auto-induction of ART.
Longistylin C
Catalog No: CFN97102

Longistylin A and longistylin C show some cytotoxic effects, with IC(50) values of 0.7-14.7 microM against the range of cancer cell lines. Longistylin A and longistylin C, and betulinic acid show a moderately high in vitro activity against the chloroquine-sensitive Plasmodium falciparum strain 3D7.
