Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to
24 months(2-8C).
Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20C. Generally, these will be useable for up to two weeks. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.
Need more advice on solubility, usage and handling? Please email to: service@chemfaces.com
The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling.

Generation and characterization of monoclonal antibodies against the pyrrolizidine alkaloid retrorsine.[Reference:
WebLink]
Monoclonal antibodies against retrorsine were established using a retrorsine-hemisuccinate::bovine-thyroglobuline conjugate as antigen for immunization.
METHODS AND RESULTS:
In competitive enzyme-linked immunoassays the specificity of the obtained antibodies was tested with 20 different pyrrolizidine alkaloids. Among these the alkaloids acetylgynuramine, gynuramine, integerrimine, neoplatyphylline, platyphylline, rosmarinine, senecionine, and seneciphylline were able to bind the antibody. There was no cross-reactivity with the alkaloids senkirkine, angeloylheliotridine, heliotridine, axillarine, anacrotine, monocrotaline, madurensine, otosenine, retronecine, Tussilagine, triangularine, and jacoline as well as with seneciphylline N-oxide.
CONCLUSIONS:
From this antigen spectrum it can be concluded that besides the necic structure itself the dominant and discriminative epitope consists of the exocyclic ethylidene group of the various diesters.

Co-occurrence of 2-pyrrolidineacetic acid with the pyrrolizidines tussilaginic acid and isotussilaginic acid and their 1-epimers in Arnica species and Tussilago farfara.[Reference:
WebLink]
METHODS AND RESULTS:
Flowerheads of Arnica montana, A. chamissonis ssp. foliosa, A. amplexicaulis and A. sachalinensis contained, in addition to the pyrrolizidine alkaloids, tussilaginic acid and isotussilaginic acid, 2-pyrrolidineacetic acid and the C-1 epimers of the two pyrrolizidine acids. Biosynthetic aspects are discussed on the basis of this co-occurrence.
CONCLUSIONS:
The pyrrolizidines Tussilagine and isoTussilagine, formerly reported for Asteraceae species, are artefacts caused by Soxhlet extraction with methanol.
