Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to
24 months(2-8C).
Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20C. Generally, these will be useable for up to two weeks. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.
Need more advice on solubility, usage and handling? Please email to: service@chemfaces.com
The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling.

Analysis of macamides in samples of Maca (Lepidium meyenii) by HPLC-UV-MS/MS.[Pubmed:
16315492]
The macamides are a distinct class of secondary metabolites that have so far been found only in Lepidium meyenii Walp. (Maca).
METHODS AND RESULTS:
Using HPLC-UV-MS/MS, the main macamides have been identified as
n-benzylhexadecanamide, n-benzyl-(9Z)-octadecenamide, n-benzyl-(9Z, 12Z)-octadecadienamide, n-benzyl-(9Z, 12Z, 15Z)-octadecatrienamide and N-Benzyloctadecanamide. The identities of n-benzyl-(9Z)-octadecenamide and n-benzyl-(9Z, 12Z)-octadecadienamide were confirmed by comparison of chromatographic and spectral properties with synthetic analogues. Total macamides have been quantified by HPLC-UV in plant material from different vendors using n-benzylhexadecanamide as an external standard.
CONCLUSIONS:
The amount of macamides in the dried plant material ranged from 0.0016 to 0.0123%.

Chemical constituents in Lepidium meyenii cultivated in Jilin.[Reference:
WebLink]
To study the chemical constituents from the dried rhizome of Lepidium meyenii (Maca) cultivated in Jilin.
METHODS AND RESULTS:
The chemical constituents were isolated and purified with macroreticular resin, silica gel, ODS column chromatography, preparation HPLC, etc. The structures of the compounds were identified by physicochemical properties and various spectroscopic methods. Thirteen compounds were isolated as N-methyl-3-hydroxy-benzeneacetamide (1), N-Benzyloctadecanamide (2), benzeneacetamide (3), benzylamine (4), 3-methoxyphenylacetic acid (5), phenylacetic acid (6), 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzoic acid (7), nicotinic acid (8), 3, 4-dihydroxy-benzoic acid methyl ester (9), adenosine (10), L-valine (11), daueosterol (12), and β-sitosterol (13).
CONCLUSIONS:
Compound 1 is identifled as a new natural compound, and compounds 3-6 and 9-12 are obtained from L. meyenii for the first time.
