Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to
24 months(2-8C).
Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20C. Generally, these will be useable for up to two weeks. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.
Need more advice on solubility, usage and handling? Please email to: service@chemfaces.com
The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling.

Antiinflammatory constituents of Celastrus orbiculatus inhibit the NF-kappaB activation and NO production.[Pubmed:
11809076]
METHODS AND RESULTS:
Two new sesquiterpene esters, 1beta,8beta-diacetoxyl-6alpha,9alpha-difuroyloxydihydro-beta-agarofuran (1) and 1beta-acetoxyl-2beta,6alpha,9alpha-trifuroyloxydihydro-beta-agarofuran (2), together with four known sesquiterpene esters (3-6), celastrol (7), and Celaphanol A (8) were isolated from the roots of Celastrus orbiculatus in a search for inhibitors of NF-kappaB activation and nitric oxide production.
CONCLUSIONS:
Compound 7 was the most active, while compounds 1, 2, 4, and 8 showed moderate inhibition in both NF-kappaB activation and nitric oxide production.

(M)- and (P)-bicelaphanol A, dimeric trinorditerpenes with promising neuroprotective activity from Celastrus orbiculatus.[Pubmed:
23421714]
METHODS AND RESULTS:
(M)-BiCelaphanol A (1) and (P)-biCelaphanol A (2), two unprecedented dimeric trinorditerpenes existing as atropisomers, together with their monomer Celaphanol A (3), were isolated from the root bark of Celastrus orbiculatus. The structures and absolute configurations of 1 and 2 were determined by spectroscopic and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses.
CONCLUSIONS:
Compound 1 exhibited a significant in vitro neuroprotective effect against a hydrogen peroxide-induced cell viability decrease in PC12 cells at 1 μM, while compounds 2 and 3 showed such effects at 10 μM.
