The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling.

Phenalenone-type compounds from Musa acuminata var. [Pubmed:
17428093 ]
METHODS AND RESULTS:
Two perinaphthenone-type compounds (1 and 2) were isolated together with four known phenylphenalenones (3-6) from the rhizomes of Musa acuminata var. "Yangambi km 5". The structures of the new phenalenones were assigned as 2-hydroxy-1H-phenalen-1-one (1) and 2-methoxy-1H-phenalen-1-one (2-Methoxyphenalen-1-one ,2) on the basis of their spectroscopic data and were confirmed by synthesis.
CONCLUSIONS:
Compounds 1 and 2 displayed significantly enhanced activity against Mycosphaerella fijiensis in comparison with other phenylphenalenones.
