WebLink]
Two monoacetylated saponins named Platycodin A (2) and platycodin C (3) were isolated from the roots of Platycodon grandiflorum A. DC. (Campanulaceae) and the chemical structures of both saponins were established by Mass and 13C NMR spectrometries.
