Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to
24 months(2-8C).
Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20C. Generally, these will be useable for up to two weeks. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.
Need more advice on solubility, usage and handling? Please email to: service@chemfaces.com
The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling.

Electroantennogram responses of Carcelia matsukarehae to the volatiles of Pinus massoniana damaged by Dendrolimus punctatus.[Reference:
WebLink]
METHODS AND RESULTS:
Carcelia matsukarehae Shima is the important natural enemy of pine caterpillars Dendrolimus punctatus(Walker) in China. The volatiles of pine Pinus massoniana Lamb.after damaged by pine caterpillars were collected and identified in the experiment.Electroantennograms from the female Carcelia matsukarehae Shima were recorded in response to the volatile compounds. Results showed that all volatile compounds but (+)-Longifolene can elicit effective EAG responses to C.matsukarehae.The most effective antennal stimulants to C.matsukarehae was cis-3-Hexen-1-ol and the lowest was(+)Longifolene during all the stimulus.
CONCLUSIONS:
The averaged EAG responses of the female flies to 4 different chemical classes showed that the green leaf volatiles elicited the largest EAG responses and hydrocarbon monoterpenes, oxygenated monoterpenes and sesquiterpenoids elicited subsequently some EAG responses to female flies.

Terpenes and sesquiterpenes of Chamaecyparis nootkatensis leaf oil.[Reference:
WebLink]
The composition of the leaf oil of Chamaecyparis nootkatensis is reported.
METHODS AND RESULTS:
The terpene fraction consists of (-)-α-pinene, (+)-3-carene and (+)-limonene together with small amounts of ()-β-pinene, myrcene and two unidentified hydrocarbons. The sesquiterpene fraction is largely a mixture of levoratory α-, β-, and γ-curcumenes with lesser amounts of ()-α-copaene, (+)-α-ylangene, (+)-Longifolene, (+)-δ-cadinene, (+)-γ-cadinene, (+)-β-bisabolene, β-farnesene, (+)- trans-nerolidol and three substances which have not been fully characterized. One of these appears to be a mixture of diastereomeric "calamenenes"; the others are new sesquiterpenes which we designate as α- and β-alaskene.
CONCLUSIONS:
Valencene and nootkatene, previously reported from the heartwood oil of this species, were not detected in the leaf oil. The biogenetic and chemotaxonomic implications of these results are discussed.
