The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling.

Anti-thrombotic activity of DT-13, a saponin isolated from the root tuber of Liriope muscari.[Pubmed:

To investigate the anti-thrombotic activity of DT-13(Liriope muscari baily saponins C) in experimental animal models.
METHODS AND RESULTS:
The anti-thrombotic activity of DT-13 was evaluated by measuring the thrombus induced by inferior vena cava (IVC) ligation in mice and rats. The anti-thrombotic mechanism of DT-13 was investigated by assessing the mRNA expression levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tissue factor (TF) in rat IVC tissue around thrombus. DT-13 markedly inhibited thrombosis induced by IVC ligation for 6 h in mice (2.0 and 4.0 mg/kg, p.o.) and for 18 h in rats (1.4 mg/kg, p.o.). Furthermore, DT-13 down-regulated the increased mRNA expression levels of IL-6 and TF in rats.
CONCLUSIONS:
DT-13 has an anti-thrombotic activity due to down-regulation of the increased mRNA expression levels of IL-6 and TF.

Preparation of liriope muscari baily saponins C solid lipid nanoparticles[Reference:

To prepare Liriope muscari baily saponins C solid lipid nanoparticles(DT-13-SLN) and to assess their physico-chemical characteristics.
METHODS AND RESULTS:
DT-13-SLN was prepared by the emulsification-solvent evaporation method.The formulation and the preparation technology of Liriope muscari baily saponins C solid lipid nanoparticles were optimized by the orthogonal design,the morphology was examined by the transmission electron microscope.The diameter,entrapment efficiency,drug loading, zeta potential and stability of Liriope muscari baily saponins C solid lipid nanoparticles were investigated. The average diameter of Liriope muscari baily saponins C solid lipid nanoparticles was 128.8 nm,the zeta potential was-30.0 mV,the entrapment efficiency was 57.43% and the drug loading was 3.48%.There were no notable changes of the particle size and entrapment efficiency at 4 ℃ within one month.New substance was examined by differential scanning calorimetery(DSC) analysis of Liriope muscari baily saponins C solid lipid nanoparticles.
CONCLUSIONS:
Liriope muscari baily saponins C solid lipid nanoparticles shows a narrow particle size distribution and good stability.
