Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to 24 months(2-8C).

Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20C. Generally, these will be useable for up to two weeks. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.

Need more advice on solubility, usage and handling? Please email to: service@chemfaces.com

The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling.

Phytochemical Analysis and Growth Inhibiting Effects of Salix viminalis L. Leaves Against Different Candida Isolates.[Reference: WebLink]
Plants have been the inherent part of life since ancient times, there is a very close relationship between humans and plants. As a medicine plants have always been used since existence of life on this planet. Current study was designed to identify phytoconstituents composition and growth inhibiting effects of leaves extract of Salix viminalis L. against Candida glabrata, Candida guilliermondii and Candida parapsilosis.
    METHODS AND RESULTS:
Phytochemical tests showed the presence of glycosides, phenols, steroids, alkaloids, terpenoids, flavanoids and tannins. By GC-MS analysis fifty two chemical constituents were analyzed in which 1-Heptacosanol (8.99%), Hexadecanoic acid (7.86%), Cholesterin (7.42%), Palmitic acid, methyl ester (5.49%), 1,2-Cyclohexanediol (4.96%), and Phytol (4.39%) were the major chemical constituents. The test extract has shown significant anticandidal activity against all Candida species. Scanning electron microscopy micrographs (SEM) showed ultrastructural changes in treated Candida cells.
    CONCLUSIONS:
Antifungal results revealed that methanolic extract of S. viminalis leaves can be used as a raw material for future anti-candidal drugs.

Antioxidant Activity and Gas Chromatographic-Mass Spectrometric Analysis of Extracts of the Marine Algae, Caulerpa peltata and Padina Gymnospora.[Reference: WebLink]
The results of our previous investigations on extracts of selected marine algae showed that Caulerpa peltata and Padina gymnospora had more promising antiproliferative and antioxidant activities than Gelidiella acerosa and Sargassum wightii.
    METHODS AND RESULTS:
Based on these results, the more active chloroform extract of C. peltata and ethyl acetate extract of P. gymnospora were further analyzed for their constituents by using gas chromatography in tandem with mass spectrometry.
    CONCLUSIONS:
The GC-MS analysis (GC % peak area given in parentheses) showed that fucosterol (12.45%) and L-(+)-ascorbic acid 2, 6-dihexadecanoate (8.13%) were the major compounds present in P. gymnospora ethyl acetate extract. On the other hand, C. peltata chloroform extract had 1-Heptacosanol (10.52%), hexacosanol acetate (9.28%), tetradecyl ester of chloroacetic acid (7.22%), Z,Z-6, 28-heptatriactontadien-2-one (6.77%) and 10, 13-dimethyl-methyl ester of tetradecanoic acid (5.34%) as major compounds. Also described in the report are the beta-carotene bleaching inhibitory and total reducing activities of the chloroform and ethyl acetate extracts of C. peltata and P. gymnospora, respectively, relative to the other three extracts (aqueous, methanol, chloroform or ethyl acetate) of the two algae.
