Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to
24 months(2-8C).
Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20C. Generally, these will be useable for up to two weeks. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.

The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling.

Novel vitamin E derivative with 4-substituted resorcinol moiety has both antioxidant and tyrosinase inhibitory properties.[Pubmed:
11834083]
METHODS AND RESULTS:
A novel vitamin E derivative, (6"-hydroxy-2",5",7",8"-tetramethylchroman-2"-yl)Methyl 3-(2,4-dihydroxyphenyl)propionate (TM4R), which has a chromanoxyl ring and 4-substituted resorcinol moieties, was synthesized; and its inhibitory effects on tyrosinase, antioxidant ability, and lightening effect of ultraviolet B (UVB)-induced hyperpigmentation were estimated.Methyl 3-(2,4-dihydroxyphenyl)propionate showed potent inhibitory activity on tyrosinase, which is the rate-limiting enzyme in melanogenesis. The scavenging activities of Methyl 3-(2,4-dihydroxyphenyl)propionate on 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl and hydroxyl radicals were found to be nearly the same as those of alpha-tocopherol. Furthermore, an efficient lightening effect was observed following topical application of Methyl 3-(2,4-dihydroxyphenyl)propionate to UVB-stimulated hyperpigmented dorsal skin of brownish guinea pigs.
CONCLUSIONS:
These results suggest that Methyl 3-(2,4-dihydroxyphenyl)propionate may be a candidate for an efficient whitening agent, possibly by inhibiting tyrosinase activity and biological reactions caused by reactive oxygen species.
