Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to 24 months(2-8C).

Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20C. Generally, these will be useable for up to two weeks. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.

Need more advice on solubility, usage and handling? Please email to: service@chemfaces.com

The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling.

Method of preparing high-purity humic acid[Reference: WebLink]
Humic acid of high purity is used for the cathode plate expanders of lead storage battery, and also important materials of organic polymer synthesis. This invention relates to a method of extracting and purifying humic acid from low-grade coal. The process is divided into four steps: (1) using alk solution to extract humic acid from coal, adding flocculant, centrifuging to remove dregs to get Humic acid sodium salt, (2) under the meta acidity condition, adding complexing agent to remove high cation, (3) after acidification, using electrodialysis method to elute mineral salts and soluble in the colloidal system, (4) after drying, getting the humic acid powder with purity more than or equal to 95%.

Strengthening Effects of Sodium Salts on Washing Kerosene Contaminated Soil with Surfactants[Pubmed: 26314139]

    METHODS AND RESULTS:
The impact of sodium salt on kerosene contaminated soil washing with surfactants was investigated. The results indicated that sodium silicate greatly enhanced the washing efficiency of SDS. Sodium tartrate can largely enhance the washing efficiency of SDBS and Brij35. Sodium salts can enhance the washing efficiency on kerosene contaminated with TX-100. No significant differences were observed between different sodium salts. Sodium salt of humic acid (Humic acid sodium salt) and sodium silicate had similar enhancement on kerosene contaminated soil washing with saponin. Sodium humate can be a better choice since its application can also improve soil quality. The enhancement of sodium silicate on kerosene contaminated soil washing with Tw-80 increased with the increase of Tw-80 dosage. However, the impact of sodium chloride and sodium tartrate was opposite to sodium silicate. Sodium salts can reduce surface tension and critical micelle concentration of ionic surfactants to enhance the washing. Sodium salts can also reduce re-adsorption of oil to soil with nonionic surfactants to enhance the washing. Kerosene contamination can increase the contact angle of soil, which indicated the increase of hydrophilicity of soil.
    CONCLUSIONS:
Washing with surfactants can reduce the hydrophilicitiy of soil according to contact angle measurement, which indicated that kerosene contaminated soil remediation with surfactant can also benefit nutrient and water transportation in the contaminated soil.

Laboratory and modelling study of the hygroscopic properties of two model humic acid aerosol particles[Reference: WebLink]
The measured mass growth factors of Sigma-Aldrich Humic acid sodium salt (NaHA) and leonardite humic acid (LHA) at 90% relative humidity are 1.87±0.02 and 1.20±0.05, respectively.
    METHODS AND RESULTS:
There is a general agreement between the results described in this study with previous TDMA results, which are undertaken with smaller particle ensembles and shorter aerosol–water equilibration times. The measured mass growth factors of Sigma-Aldrich Humic acid sodium salt (NaHA) and leonardite humic acid (LHA) at 90% relative humidity are 1.87±0.05 and 1.20±0.05, respectively.
