Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to 24 months(2-8C).

Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20C. Generally, these will be useable for up to two weeks. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.

Need more advice on solubility, usage and handling? Please email to: service@chemfaces.com

The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling.

Cytotoxic activity of two natural sesquiterpene lactones, isobutyroylplenolin and arnicolide D, on human colon cancer cell line HT-29.[Pubmed: 24588282 ]

    METHODS AND RESULTS:
In this study, we found that two sesquiterpene lactones, isobutyroylplenolin and Arnicolide D, from Centipeda minima L. (Compositae) exerted stronger cytotoxic activity than cisplatin on the human colon carcinoma HT-29 cell line. Furthermore, the cytotoxicity of these two compounds on normal cells was weaker than that of cisplatin.
    CONCLUSIONS:
Treatment with isobutyroylplenolin and Arnicolide D increased the levels of intracellular reactive oxygen species and decreased the levels of nuclear factor-κB protein, resulting in cell cycle arrest in G1 phase and apoptosis. We also discuss the difference in structure and activity between these two compounds.

Chemical constituents from Centipeda minima.[Pubmed: 19777837]
To study the chemical constituents from Centipeda minima.
    METHODS AND RESULTS:
    The constituents were isolated by column chromatography on silica gel, Sephadex LH-20 and HPLC-ODS, and identified by spectroscopic methods. Ten compounds, (-)-cis-chrysanthenol-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (1), methy 3,5-dicaffeoylquinate (2), 3,5-di-O-caffeoyl quinicacid (3), tricin (4), 2-amino-4-methyl-pentanoicacid (5), 2-amino-3-phenyl-propionic acid (6), 4-amino-4-carboxychroman-2-one (7), brevilin-A (8), arnicolide C (9), Arnicolide D (10) were isolated and identified.
    CONCLUSIONS:
Compounds 1-7 were isolated from the plant for the first time.
