Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day.     Studies on Chemical Constituents of the Leaves of Cassia siamea Lam Cassia siamea Lam[Reference: WebLink]
    To study the chemical constituents of the leaves of Cassia siamea Lam.,an ethno-remedy of Dai People in Yunnan.
    METHODS AND RESULTS:
    The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by chromatography.Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic evidences and physicochemical properties. Six compounds were isolated and identified as 2-Methyl-5-acetonyl-7-hydroxy-chromone(1),4-(cis)-Acetyl-3,6,8-trihydroxy-3-methyldihydronaphthalenone(2),Emodin(3),Physcion(4),β-Amyrin(5),β-Sitosterol(6).
    CONCLUSIONS:
    Compounds 3-6 were isolated from the leaves of Cassia siamea Lam.for the first time.
