Indole alkaloids from [Reference:

METHODS AND RESULTS:
Three minor indole alkaloids have been isolated from "hairy roots" of Rauwolfia serpentina Benth.: 3-epi-α-yohimbine (1), 18-Beta-hydroxy-3-epi-alpha-yohimbine (2), and 12-hydroxyajmaline (3). The latter compound (3) is a novel alkaloid.
CONCLUSIONS:
The alkaloid structures have been determined by spectroscopic data.
