Syringaresinol-di-O-glucoside
Syringaresinol-di-O-glucoside protects the animals from the stress-induced decreases in sex behaviours and in rectal temperature, the stress-induced failure of retrieval of memory, and the stress-induced enlargement of adrenal gland.

Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to
24 months(2-8C).
Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20C. Generally, these will be useable for up to two weeks. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.

The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling.

Effect of Eleutherococcus senticosus and Its Components on Sex- and Learning-Behaviours and Tyrosine Hydroxylase Activities of Adrenal Gland and Hypothalamic Regions in Chronic Stressed Mice[Reference:
WebLink]
Eleutherococcus senticosus and its components, syringin and Syringaresinol-di-O-glucoside, were studied for their effect on sex behaviours and on acquired conditioned reactions in mice exposed to chronic "hanging stress."
METHODS AND RESULTS:
Rectal temperature was recorded during exposure to the stress, and adrenal gland weight, tyrosine hydroxylase activity in adrenal gland and hypothalamic regions, and corticosterone content in adrenal gland and serum were measured 24 hr after the final exposure to stress. A water extract from Eleutherococcus senticosus and syringin were shown to protect mice from the stress-induced decreases in sex behaviors and in rectal temperature. Syringaresinol-di-O-glucoside protected the animals from the stress-induced decreases in sex behaviours and in rectal temperature, the stress-induced failure of retrieval of memory, and the stress-induced enlargement of adrenal gland.
CONCLUSIONS:
They have no effect however on the stress-induced increase in tyrosine hydroxylase activity in adrenal gland and hypothalamic regions, and on corticosterone contents in adrenal gland and serum.
