Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to
24 months(2-8C).
Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20C. Generally, these will be useable for up to two weeks. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.

The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling.

Preparation of ethyl glucoside as shale inhibitor for water base drilling fluids.[Reference:
WebLink]
METHODS AND RESULTS:
A powdered Ethyl glucoside (EG) is prepared through acidic hydrolysis of starch, dissolving the glucose formed in ethyl alcohol at elevated temperatures, and catalytic reaction between glucose and alcohol.
CONCLUSIONS:
The performance properties of EG as scale inhibitor additive for drilling fluid are studied in laboratory. EG is recommended for moderately deep wells.

Ethyl glucoside in human urine following dietary exposure: detection by 1H NMR spectroscopy as a result of metabonomic screening of humans.[Pubmed:
14978530]
METHODS AND RESULTS:
Metabonomic screening of human urine samples using 1H NMR spectroscopy has revealed the presence of signals resulting from the excretion of Ethyl glucoside. Experiments in volunteers have demonstrated that this Ethyl glucoside results from dietary exposure to the compound, which is present in beverages such as rice wine and sake, rather than representing a new route for the metabolism of ethanol by humans.
CONCLUSIONS:
The limited studies undertaken in volunteers indicate that Ethyl glucoside has a longer biological half life than ethanol itself. The potential problems associated with using this glucoside metabolite as a marker of ethanol consumption are considered.
