Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to
24 months(2-8C).
Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20C. Generally, these will be useable for up to two weeks. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.

The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling.

Activity-guided isolation of triterpenoid acyl CoA cholesteryl acyl transferase (ACAT) inhibitors from Ilex kudincha.[Pubmed:

METHODS AND RESULTS:
Activity-guided fractionation of a methanol extract of the leaves of Ilex kudincha led to the isolation of seven acyl CoA cholesteryl acyl transferase (ACAT) inhibitory triterpenes. Four of them were identified by spectroscopic methods as ulmoidol (4), 23-hydroxyursolic acid (5), 27-trans-p-coumaroyloxyursolic acid (6), and 27-cis-p-coumaroyloxyursolic acid (7), and three were new compounds named ilekudinols A-C (1-3). The structures of these new triterpenoids were elucidated as 2alpha, 3beta-dihydroxy-24-nor-urs-4(23),11-dien-28,13beta- olide (1), 2alpha, 3beta-dihydroxy-24-nor-urs-4(23),12-dien-28-oic acid (2), and 3beta, 24,28-trihydroxylupane (3).
CONCLUSIONS:
Compounds 1-7 showed potent inhibitory activity in the ACAT assay.

METHODS AND RESULTS:
The triterpenes ursolic acid (1), 27-p-Z-coumaroyloxyursolic acid (2), 27-p-E-coumaroyloxyursolic acid, alpha-amyrine-3-palmitate and lupeol-3-palmitate were isolated through a bioactivity-guided fractionation from the acetonic extract of the aerial parts of Viburnum jucundum Morton in addition to amentoflavone, an epimeric mixture at C-2 of 2,3-dihydroamentoflavone, beta-sitosterol and beta-sitosteryl glucopyranoside.
CONCLUSIONS:
Ursolic acid (1) was the only constituent that exhibited cytotoxic activity toward three human cancer cell lines in culture. This is the first phytochemical and cytotoxic analysis performed to this plant species.
